CLOTHES AND SHOES DONATIONS

Several wealthy families donate clothes to ISHWAR for onward distribution to the poor and needy. Only clean, untorn and wearable clothes are accepted as donation. We sort out the clothes and after alterations, organise the clothes according to size and offer it to our poor children and their families.  

ISHWAR also donates shoes to children studying with us. In one such donation, Mr. Subhash Tandan, former Commissioner of Police, as Chief Guest, gave away the shoes that were very kindly gifted by Lakhani Shoes, a prominent footwear manufacturer. 

An important and big donation of clothes was made to the New Delhi Tuberculosis Centre at Lok Nayak Hospital, Delhi, for all poor patients affected by tuberculosis who were admitted there. This group of poor people were distressed as nobody was willing to come and help, tuberculosis being a contagious disease. The President and General Secretary went personally to this centre to show our love and compassion to the sick and personally handed over the clothes to them.
